This beautiful, three-panel 48-inch Low Kumo Shoji Screen is brought to you from across the oceans. Handmade in South China, this screen is 48 inches tall and 70 inches wide. These screens have been popular in oriental culture and are now brought to your living room for the sake of beauty.
The screen is made of rice paper and wood. Rice paper is made by cutting the pith of a large herb (Fatsia papyrifera, related to the ginseng) into one roll or sheet, which is flattened out under pressure.
