Located in the central Iranian province of Esfahan, Nain has a long tradition of quality rugweaving. These rugs are known worldwide for their fine weave and detailed, curvilinear designs. Though similar to Esfahan rugs, Nain rugs often feature more animal motifs, especially birds. Most Nain rugs are crafted with wool pile, although some feature silk highlights.
