These Japanese porcelain dolls are handmade and hand-painted with the highest quality craftsmanship and exquisitely fine details.
These eye-catching dolls are dressed in Emperor and Empress costumes. The Empress is dressed in bright shades of pink and rose, while the Emperor wears blue and lavender. Each doll is approx. 3.5-inches tall and 2.5-inches wide and sits on a black lacquered wooden base with a standing plaque. 'Hina' is the Japanese word for doll. They are traditionally presented in the Japanese 'Girls' Festival' to families with daughters to celebrate their girls' happiness, health, beauty, and eventual happy marriage. They come in a black gift box.
