Larimar is known as the Atlantis Stone because of its rich ocean blue color and pattern. This stunning pair of dangle earrings features an oval Larimar stone measuring approximately .25 inches X .3 inches; each earring is set in shimmering sterling silver. These earrings are attached to sterling silver French ear round wires.
In 1957, Larimar was discovered. This extremely rare precious stone has only been found in one location in the remote mountains of Dominican Republic. Named for one of the founder's daughters, LARissa, and the Spanish word for sea 'MAR,' Larimar is one of nature's best kept secrets. Natives say Larimar has the ability to draw ones soul mate to the wearer and has the dolphin's energy allowing the user to communicate on many different levels at once.
