Villagers near the town of Jaiselmer, India re-use sections of hand embroidered cotton to adorn the sides of these camel hide shoulder bags. Lined with soft cotton, this bag will transcend the test of time and trend. The bag has been entirely hand stitched and has simple brass hardware.
These leather bags are made in Rajasthan by small groups of people that belong to a long line of tanners. The leather comes from camels and water buffalo and goes through a lengthy process of tanning in order to soften the leather.
