Sometimes referred to as Senneh, Sanandaj is a small town in Kurdistan, western Iran. Sanandaj rugs are among the best in quality in tribal Kurdish Rugs. The patterns of these are almost always geometric but it sometimes bears similar resemblance to the Bijar.
