This soft satin net handbag has style enough for any special event, but is casual enough for a fun day around town. The background is rayon satin with black beads and fringe.
Two 6-inch satin-covered handles let you carry the bag in style; tuck the handles inside and pull out the extra cord for a shoulder strap and you have two bags in one! A magnetic snap closure completes the piece. Choose from red, soft pink, navy, and grey.
These bags are created in a female owned and operated cottage industry on the outskirts of New Delhi, India. The owner of the shop has been teaching the fine techniques of embroidery to local women who lack the education for other pursuits. Some of the local women who have shown exceptional design instincts have gone into that area as well.
