These sterling silver oval drop earrings feature brilliant shards of roman glass on one side and on the reverse side the word for 'love' (amore) in Italian. The sparkling gemstones have been hand-cut to bring out the brilliance of the stones. The round stone is a rich translucent brown smoky quartz (8 mm diameter) and the cubed stone is a rich violet iolite. The browns and purples play off of the blue green iridescent tones of the roman glass. A story card comes with each piece translating the Italian,.
These stylish earrings are made in a lovely studio in the North of Israel where Bedouin women work side by side with Jewish Israelis.
