Capital of the northwestern province of Azerbaijan, Tabriz has for centuries enjoyed a great reputation as a center of Oriental culture. This Tabriz rug is approximately 40 years old, and except for approximately 5 sq/inches of its surface having low pile, it is in excellent condition. This rug features a blue background, and a green border with accents in ivory, green, red, gold and pale green.
