Lower Manhattan Near The World Trade Center Ruins

From Grand Central Station I took a subway to Greenwich Village and walked south to lower Manhattan. As I walked further south I began to notice it was getting more difficult to breathe. Just as I was thinking to myself how bad the smog was I stumbled on the World Trade Center site. The air was full of the smell of burning plastic and chemical, kind of an ammonia smell too. The next day the last fire at the site was put out, a 100 days since the terrorist attack.
