Added on 2002-09-19, modified on 2005-10-03 I took these photos while trying out the Bangkok skytrain. Added on 2002-09-24, modified on 2002-10-07 Anguilla has miles of beautiful beaches. But best of all, there's few other people there. Added on 2002-10-05, modified on 2004-02-18 I took these photos while walking along River Liffey. It runs through the city. Added on 2002-10-05, modified on 2002-10-07 Overall, St Martin is an overcrowded and touristy island. However, it has a few nice spots. Added on 2002-10-14, modified on 2002-11-03 Photos showing both the new and old architecture of London. Added on 2002-11-17, modified on 2006-01-26 I took these photos while walking more or less randomly through the Hague. Added on 2003-01-21, modified on 2003-10-19 Lisbon has some really cool modern architecture, some very nice old buildings, and lots of ugly apartment blocks. Added on 2003-11-18, modified on 2004-02-18 I have mixed feelings about Antwerp. Parts of it, such as the area around the cathedral, is nice. Other parts, however, are dirty and butt-ugly (lots of 60s style architecture). Added on 2003-02-24, modified on 2003-09-18 I took these photos while spending a day walking more or less randomly around in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. Added on 2003-03-30, modified on 2005-07-30 The view of Paris from up in the Eiffel Tower is awesome! Added on 2003-04-03, modified on 2004-02-18 Keukenhof is a flower park southwest of Amsterdam. It's open in the spring. Added on 2003-04-28, modified on 2004-02-18 Rotterdam looks more modern than many other Dutch cities. Some of the new architecture there is quite interesting. Added on 2003-05-28, modified on 2003-08-25 Took these photos while spending a few days in Berlin. One thing that struck me was how similar many of the buildings built in East Berlin during communism is to Western European architecture from that same era. Added on 2003-08-08, modified on 2003-08-09 If you enjoy old castles and palaces, you should go to Sintra. It's a bit touristy, but not too bad. Added on 2003-10-18, modified on 2003-10-18 Barcelona, being the home of Antoni Gaudi, has some interesting and pretty cool architecture. For great views of the whole city, go on top of Montjuic or Tibidabo. Added on 2003-11-04, modified on 2004-02-18 Amsterdam has lots of old buildings along many canals. Newer buildings can be found outside the city center. Added on 2003-11-18, modified on 2005-05-28 Frankfurt, in the summer, is a very pleasant city. Added on 2003-11-21, modified on 2005-05-28 Macau is a one hour ferry trip from Hong Kong. I found it an odd place - a mix between Portugal and China with some gambling thrown in. Added on 2003-12-28, modified on 2003-12-28 Hong Kong is a fascinating, but stressfull city. It has lots of interesting architecture, but also lots of people and traffic. Added on 2003-12-28, modified on 2003-12-28 These photos are from central Rome, nearby the Coliseum and the Vatican. Added on 2004-05-28, modified on 2004-05-29 Photos from some of the nicer areas of Buenos Aires. Added on 2004-10-06, modified on 2004-10-07 Brussels has much diversity. People from different countries, speaking different languages, eating different food, building different houses all come together here. Added on 2005-05-09, modified on 2005-05-09 Paris has some of the world's best architecture, some of the world's best food (my favorite is the tartare de boeuf) and one of the world's best transportation systems, which makes it one of the worlds best cities. Spring is a good time to visit. Added on 2005-04-14, modified on 2005-04-14 A few photos from Prague at night, and a couple in daylight.
